Do you believe boys are easier to raise than girls?

I have always heard people say this and im just curious as to others experiences. I have a 2 1/2 year old son at the moment and im 9 months pregnant with our first baby girl. Im curious as to whether it holds any truth..

Answer #1

No. But they are easier to protect.

Answer #2

I Raised 3 Boys. My Neighbor Has 2 Girls She Always Says. Wish I Could Have Had Boys.. It All Depends In Your Patience. Self Control. And Wisdom Common Sense.I Think Girls Might Need More Of The Dresses Make Up.. Hair Things

Answer #3

I think it depends. We are four children 2 boys and 2 girls and my mother has the most difficulty with my sister and older brother. So it depends greatly on the child and what they expect to get and want. That being said it is less worrying when your son goes out at night than your girl and girls generally do want more make up, dresses etc.

Answer #4

yes i do so far! I have a 2 1/2 yr old son, and a 1 1/2 yr old daughter. They are 10 months and 1 day apart. My daughter is our “problem child”lol..She is always into everything, and already has an attitude!lol..My son is so much more laid back and listens fairly well, but my daughter does what she wants when she wants. Such a little women already:) But the good thing is, they say girls learn and catch on quicker and I have deff seen that! She can do everything her brother can, she can even talk better! Good luck to you!

Answer #5

No, you can have just as much trouble with both.

Answer #6

I have an older brother, 4 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters, and my parents all said my oldest brother and younger brother are/were the hardest. I didn’t cause too much trouble, although I was told I was a little handful when I was a toddler lol

Answer #7

Having raised both genders, myself, I find that girls are easier when they’re little, and boys are more rambunctious, but teenage girls are worse, by far, than teenage boys. It’s not that generalized for everyone, though.

Answer #8

no i think its just sexist

Answer #9

I think it depends on the individual child and their personality. Some children just have a higher energy level than others.

Answer #10

may not be easier but prolly cheaper…boys they just want their toys and their happy, and a girl she wants toys, make up, tampons, hair bretts, high lights, nails done, anything and everything…

Answer #11

depends on the kid themselves…but i would really have to say neither one is easier to raise

Answer #12

Every child is a struggle to raise.Parenthood is such a big responsibility..But boys are heartbroken less…but usually you have to worry about them getting a girl pregnant.

Answer #13

I’ve found that girls tend to be more manipulative and sometimes devious. Whereas boys are quite loud and bulshy.

Answer #14

eh, it kinda all comes down to the strictness and environment the kids are under. but i think boys get into trouble more but girls in thier early teens can get….bad : l

Answer #15

Well I would also say you have to worry about the girl getting pregnant, it takes two to tango.

Answer #16

Yes I would say this is very true, I have two boys and as they age much easier, to the point sometimes I don’t know they are there. The boys have found if they stay quit, and keep up on their chores, life is easy. My sister has two girls, about the same ages, and they are more then a handful.

Answer #17

Well you where outnumbered, that may boys in one place, you are asking for it.

Answer #18

To me girls because boys go through a long stage of crazy

Answer #19

i think boys are easier girls are mean lol

Answer #20

i think thay are both the same as i have a boy and a girl and i have another boy on the way

Answer #21

It depends on the kid. My mum said that my brother was easier to raise than my sister but she was easier to raise than me. I was a loud kid lol

Answer #22

I do not have any girls, but I have heard that boys are harder when they are younger, and girls get more difficult with age. I say my oldest son was very hard headed toddler, but now both boy are very easy.

Answer #23

I have twins 8 years old, a boy and girl. I have a 7 year old girl and a 4 year old boy. The boys are not as deceitful with their lying. They don’t get away with things as much. My boys don’t make me want to smoke a cagarette. My girls on a daily basis are disobedient. Girls are harder. I don’t care what anyone says. I will give you a great example of the female and disobedience. In the garden of Eden, Eve was the first to disobey. I know the command was given to Adam, but it was the hard headed female to illustrate disobedience first. I hope that give you something to think about as sin is the nature of human being in its totality and we must all show commitment and obedience to Christ.
