Boyfriend or Best friend?

I’ve known this boy since I’ve been in 2nd grade, and I’ve liked him for awhile now. He’s given me hints that he doesn’t want to date someone who’s in a different school. Because he is in 8th grade, and I’ll be a freshman next year. But I really really like him. I really wanna tell him, except I don’t want it to ruin our friendship. Ideas?

Know the feeling. Dont tell him because it could ruin your friendship but what I would do is get one of your friends to ask one of his friends if he likes you, if he does then make the first move.

I really doubt an 8th grader is going to turn down a freshman, that would be the coolest thing ever for a boy. dating people from other schools can be a good thing because you won’t have people in your business. I personally never dated a girl I went to school with for that reason. if you really do care about him you should express the way you feel…besides its not like you’ll have to see him at school if he doesn’t like what you have to say
