Boyfriend is out of town for a month

Okay, so, my boyfriend is in California and has been for two weeks, and will be for two more weeks. And like, he hardly says the stuff he used to, like, that he loves me or misses me or like compliments me and all that. He hardly does it and it’s pretty much only when I say something first.. I just want him to say more things to me first but I don’t want to seem like desperate.. How can I do that? Any suggestions?

I said something kind of about it today. But he said he’d like rather tell me than text it. Which I understand and I like that a lot. But since I can’t talk to him near as much as I like, I’d still like him to send it..

honesty is the best policy.

tell him straight up how you feel. if he cares for you, he will realize what he is doing.
