Boyfriend in Jail/Pregnant

Me and my boyfreind of two years found out I was pregnant in june. He has came around and is excited about having a child with me. Recently, he just received his jail sentence and it is two years, meaning he will serve one. I am now almost six months pregnant. It is hard to think that he will not be their for the birth of the baby, and im upset. What should I do to make this easier?

Honestly, there isnt much you can do. I’d make sure to get the babies birth and first year on tape/pictures so he can atleast look at those.

You have to look at the things you can control. Its going to be real hard, and I dont know that there is a way to make anything ‘easier’. The best thing to do is keep yourself busy- which will not be hard at all with a new baby! Congratulations! Do you and your baby a favor- whatever your boyfriend is going to jail for- make sure it is a thing of the past. Make sure he is learning from the experience because it will be a lot harder later on if he puts him self in the position to go back to jail. Good luck to you! A year is better than two. Send pictures, and write to your boyfriend.
