Can you? There’s a possibility. Your grades are good, but it all depends on whether or not your grades are good enough to put you in place for a spot.

Answer #2

Your grades seem to be good enough to get in and you were in alot of cool clubs and stuff and you have held leadership positions in several clubs. I think you have a fair chance but If I were you I would have a back up college just in case :) Good Luck!

To be completely honest with you, BU might be kind of a stretch but it is still worth applying. You have good ECs going for you so that is a good place to start out. A 29 on the ACT is strong, and it is the average score for BU so you definitely have a chance. Your GPA is what is bringing you down though – just glancing it looks like it’s somewhere in the 2.0’s and the average GPA for BU ends up being around a 3.6-3.7, and BU does tend to put more emphasis on the GPA than on the ACT score. However, your grades do show an upward trend so if you pull off the C rather than the D in chem you may still have a shot though it’ll probably be a reach school. It could be helpful to retake the ACT and try to raise your score. You should still definitely apply though! You have a chance and you never know what could happen.
