Bored at work

My boss comes in and sits down to ask me “are you bored too?” LOL I was warned that there would be some down time. I’m okay with that because I love my work. I am just trying to get new ideas for things to do.

Prank call? Race on a wheely chair? Throw paper aeroplanes? Make up a song or story at your desk - make it funny or exaggerate what you see around you? Email your best friend/crush/other half? Book a holiday?

I would bring in a book of crossword puzzles or wordfinds to stash in your desk…

Read an e-book.

tell that to your boss. they may be able to give you some extra projects to pass the time…or go cross-train in another department. I’ve done that and it sure makes the day go by faster…plus you get more experience in more areas, which is always good on the resume
