Answer #9

Note to Beth – if you order SoCo in a bar, everyone in the place will know you’re new. That’s the ultimate newbie liquor, after Mad Dog.

And if you’re going to order a mimosa, I’d avoid saying “champagne and orange juice.”

Answer #10

I’m guessing that by “good tasting,” you mean “do not taste strongly of alcohol.” The two generally go hand in hand.

Go with anything mixed with fruit juice, as the sweetness cuts through the tang of alcohol better than, say, Coke or Sprite, which are more of a dilution than anything else. The vodka-cran is very popular with those who want to drink without it tasting like their drinking. Sex on the Beach or Fuzzy Navel are also good ones to try for the beginner, but be careful – just because they taste like juice doesn’t mean you won’t wind up under the table.

Answer #11

Southern comfort!! Vodka and lime Champagne and orange juice Cider over ice martini on the rocks Bloody Mary Sex on the beach Gin and tonic Whiskey and lemonade Warm whiskey

Answer #12

Very sorry. I do not go out you see as I am underage so how would I know all the slang words!? And what does it matter what people think- if they want it they can get it.

Answer #13

Vodka mixed drinks go down easiest if you aren’t used to drinking alcohol. In addition Vodka is one of the liquors that cause the least hangovers. The Screwdriver is the classic beginner drink.

Answer #14

Vodka drinks go with any fizzy drink you can get your hands on really, my all time faviourite would have to be a cold beer, not really into spirits.
