Why do my boobs tend to hurt?

well there could be a lot of different reason why they hurt. Sometimes they hurt because your about to get your period and they feel tight and they hurt just by touching it lightly. Another reason could be because you might be getting breast cancer, a good way to check is to lift your arm up and feel around for bumps. If you do feel something unusual its best to go see your doctor. And it good still be growing, my doctor said that they still continue growing until your 24.

I think I might of figured out the problem… I got my period tonight. could that of caused it? my periods never really come at the same time so I don’t really know when it’s close since I don’t usually have too bad of cramps and such. so could my boobs being sore lately be from my peirod?

How often do they hurt? Is there a chance you could be pregnant? Some breast can have an achy feeling at the begining, during and end of your monthly cycle. It doesnt have to be both, can be just one.Also can be very tender during pregnacy. If the tenderness persists consult a doctor! There may be some relief with hormones or some sort of meds..

and also… they hurt randomly I guess you’d say. there just sort of started doing it awhile ago. I think it might be due to them still growing… my mom said that too…

it might be an ingrown hair. it’s really common. if it presists after a couple of weeks, go see a doctor. if it is an ingrown hair, they might have to cut it out. or if it is a growing issure, you might have a thyroid problem. hormone medicine can fix it. also, birth control can usually make them feel a lot better

ok… I don’t know if my parents would allow me to take birth control. but it’s not like it’s a horrible unbearable pain, it hurts to touch that side of if it’s bumped or something so maybe it’s from the still growing?

allexrutledge is entirely correct. can’t vouch for how painful boobs can be - don’t own a pair, but I can attest to the fact that the underarm area is a very sensitive spot, lots of glands and such. and oftentimes problems will arise in that area if something abnormal is occurring. it definately wouldn’t hurt to have it checked out if the problem persists.

you may need to go visit your doctor. you may have a more serious problem like BREAST CANCER!!! Think about it!

well it’s not exactly a “discmfort” presay… it’s sort of an annoyance because it only hurts if I touch it or if it’s bumped in anyway

well, see a doctor, and maybe he’ll put you on a hormone therapy for the problem that’s causing the pain or discomfort.

…hurting how? Is it a sharp pain, stinging pain, dull trobbing pain, etc?

yes mine do almost every month.

my mom tells me it’s nothing to worry about so maybe it’s not. my dad would say the same thing… my right one does the same just on the other side… the one NOT by my armpit. my left one hurts on the side by my armpit.

well it hurts just like how it hurts if you hit your leg, or bump you elbow or something… not THAT bad, but it does hurt… just in that area I mentioned though
