Peroxide and blonde hair

I’ve been dying my hair black for 2 years, is it true if I use peroxide it turns blonde?

not exactly, it would turn orange. you have to bleach your dyed black hair at least four times to get it blonde.

it goes like this: start out black first bleach turns hair orange second bleach turns out bright orange third time bleaching turns out bright yellow fourth time bleaching turns out pale yellow/ platinum blonde.

you can’t bleach your hair more than once in a day, and if you’re going to try this you have to bleach your hair ONCE A WEEK at the most. so basically, you’re going to have to live with orange/yellow hair for 4 weeks if you want platinum blonde hair, and even then your hair will be fried.

that being said, it’s better to go to a professional.

GO TO YOUR NEAREST WALGREENS OR CVS AND BUY COLOR OOPS IT TAKES OUT THE BLACK HAIR DYE!! HOPE I HELPED

yes peroxide is like bleach it takes the coler out of dark colers so that would work
