Birth control=weird cravings???

My boyfriend and I had sex for the first time on wednesday!!! But the condom broke…but we decided to keep going. he thinks he pulled out soon enough, bot just to be safe I went to planned parenthood to get the plan b pill. while I was there I got started on birth control too. Today I have had a strange craving for milk…this is very strange for me because I never drink milk, ever…the last time I fad a glass of milk was 4 months ago, and normally if makes me feel sick! But today I was graving it really bad and I’ve had 4 glasses…I want to know why I have this strange craving, and the only reason I can think of is that I’ve been on birth control for 5 days, do you think that has anything to do with it?

Hiya, well first of all, you did the right thing in going to get emergancy contraception, and getting started on another form of contraception, now as for the cravings for milk, when you start on a new contraceptive, it can make your periods irregular, and give you cravings, cramping, light spotting, stuff like that, so dont worry its totally normal, and its giving your bones more strength, but also, I would try and drink water instead of milk, I hope this helps darlin, x :) message me for more info if you want :)

Yes you could be pregnant. But seeing as you took the morning after pill you should be alright. You shouldn’t have kept going after you should have used another condom. And you wouldn’t be having any symptoms including cravings already.
