How big and old do scienctists believe the universe is?

Answer #1

The Universe is infinite, it has no boundaries, no ‘ending’. And it doesn’t have an ‘age’ as it is indefinite.

Answer #2

precisely and it is also known as the “Big Bang Theory” (like the show)…. scientists believe the universe expands every second of every day

Answer #3

Different scientists have different views. Some believe that the world has always existed, while some believe that it was created only around 6000 years ago. Depends on the scientist you ask and their bias.

Answer #4

Unfortunately, no one really truly knows the age of the universe. However, through certain back ground radiation tests, they are assuming it to be 13.7 billion years old. However, Earth has been determined to be about 4.54 billion years old.

Answer #5

The age of the universe as we know it is 13.75 billion years. There obviously was something earlier but we have no way of knowing what here before the big bang.

Answer #6

There’s the universe and there’s the universes. When you go to sleep at night, where are you, what are you, are you dead or alive? Not just dreams, where are you in that black of dreams? The universe is not big or old, it is. It may do things, make changes, explode or implode, but oldness and bigness aren’t meaningful for something as ‘big’ as the universe. Unless there are other universes also. Be you. In this universe you know. Just be the best you, you can be and the universe will take care of the rest.

Answer #7

Years are irrelevant. Our lifespan is so insignificant, we need to live now, in the present.

Answer #8

Time is just not enough even to figure out what life is to us and where is the time to figure out how old is the universe here? scientists are even struggling to find out the exact number of planets and i don’t think there will be an exact answer to this question of yours here
