Why does everyone make a big deal about plugs versus gauges?

To me it’s more like sprinkles versus jimmies. It’s not like saying “I paint my hair pink” when it’s supposed to be “dye.” I’ve never heard of a boob job being called a windshield job, that is interesting. Even if they look stupid, it’s unnecessary to correct them because gauge is the common term. Yesterday I was talking about my plugs to my friend, and she had no idea what they were until I said gauges. It really shouldn’t matter because it’s so trivial.

I said windshield because it’s relevant to a car, as are gauges.

It may be common, like helix piercings being called “cartilage” piercings when in fact most of your ear is cartilage, but a lot of people who are knowledgable in the subject just get annoyed when you don’t call things by their actual names.

I do know that they get annoyed, but they don’t have call someone a fa.ggot for it, you know? And TwiddleMuffin I don’t think that makes sense because a windshield has no relevance to boobs. Gauges have more relevance to plugs and cars than cars do do getting a boob job.
