Answer #8

The Bible does not mention Halloween by name because that holiday did not develop in the Middle East where the Bible’s first readers were, but in Europe and it didn’t develop until a few hundred years after Revelations was written.

In the Bible, it does talk about the dangers of worshiping or communing with demons and warns against practicing black magic or witchcraft. Read the Gospels (all four of them) and you’ll find Jesus rebuking and casting demons out of people. Also you’ll find Him confronting Lucifer several times, ultimately defeating him by rising again from the grave after being crucified.

Depending on how you celebrate All Hallows Eve (or Halloween), it can be an evil or harmless thing. If you just give out candy and wear goofy costumes, it’s no big deal. If you are one of those people who hold seances or sacrifice animals to Satan or something like that on that night, then Halloween is indeed bad for you.

Answer #9

Funny how most Christian traditions and holidays originated in Paganism too, eh?

Answer #10

I do not think it does because I do not think they even had trick or treating back when all of those men wrote the bible. Also I am Pagan and sorry to let all the haters down, but we do not sacrifice anything on Halloween or as we like to call it Samhain. And since there is not what so ever a fictional boogyman known as satan, then my guess would be NO it’s not the devils night. But you can still be scared if you so choose cause everyone has the right to be a chicken sometimes.
