BEST SHOE Whitener??

THese are the pair of WHITE Canvas shoes that I have and fear that If I am not careful I could easily fade away the Very Fine Gold Detail Designs on it.

What Can I use to scrub the gross dirt off my white shoes without fading the Designs?? I am still asking around and not getting very many answers =(

maybe you could try nappysan and use a sponge to clean it with, apparently that doesnt affect other colours on clothes/shoes
