Best Shampoo and Conditioner for Oily Hair?

My hair gets oily really quickly, at the end of every other day. I know that people would say, “then wash it every day” but if I do that then it’s oily before the day is over. Does anyone know about any really good shampoo to use or maybe somethings you should or shouldn’t eat to help prevent oily hair?

Answer #1

Aussie cleanse and mend shampoo and conditioner

Answer #2

try a clarifying shampoo and not a heavy thick conditioner. shower everyday. then put babypowder on dry hair if its still greasy.. thin hair also tends to get greasier quicker.

Answer #3

I also use Assie, but I do think that salon sampoos and conditioner’s are better for color. I started using Paul Mitchell and noticed my highlights last longer.

well, it dependz if you blow dry it or not. my hair iz also greasy like that. use head and shoulders. I know people say itz 4 people who have dandruff but it work. squeez out really well. wrap a towel around it. leave it up 4 about a 1 min. than blow dry. stop for a little bit to brush than do it all again until dry. But, you dont hve 2 do that. you can let it blow dry.

Oily hair and scalp is caused by improper shampooing or overactive sebaccous glands, and is characterized by a greasy buildup on the hair and scalp, and an oily coating on the hair. It can be treated by properly washing with a normalizing shampoo (Biolage by Matrix normalizing shampoo - is one that works well) a well balanced diet, exercise, regular shampooing and good personal hygiene are essential to controlling oily hair & scalp. :-)
