Answer #2

any decade but now…

todays music sucks so much compared to what real music is.

but I would say…anywhere from 61-maybe the 80’s. but mostly the 60’s.

Answer #3

the 70’s and 80’s ish. around that area with all the rock and junk.

it was an amazing change for history.

Answer #4

I’d say the 60’s early 70’s. Probably only because that’s the kind of music my parents listen too, and I know like all the songs. But I like the Beatles and The Temptations.

Answer #5

90’s I think but I prefer to choose Todays decade!… ‘cause somewhat I want new wave of sounds. I know past music were really good but it was difficult to recall the memories of the past music, to relate to this new era.

Answer #6

70’s. Apart from that whole disco fiasco we do not speak of, the punk movement was truly great for self expression and rebellion, and contributes to a lot of the social norms we have adapted today.

And now, of course, since we have so many bands gaining fame through the internet, which is truly unique to music.

Answer #7

40s “big band” because it got rid of the ragtime jazz of the 30s

50s “rock and roll” because it ended the “big band” sound of the 40s

60s “folk and rock” because it blew away that boring 50s “rock and roll” and brought black artists into the mainstream

70s “punk” because it helped to kill what was left of the 60s “folk and rock” music

80s “prog rock and funk” because it brought melody back and helped stop “mainstream” punk

90s “fusion” because it made record companies realize that all genres sell

Each decade is “best” because it killed the musical style from the previous decade. Music is transformation and evolution…
