3 months before you do either changing it before than will prolong healing time and increase your chances of infection pools are filled with germs, bacteria and chlorine, all of which can infect your new wound thats healing a lake or the ocean is fine to go in before this time though

3 months before you change it - if you change it sooner you are risking an infection and your body rejecting the piercing.

3 month before you get into a pool also - pools are filled with basteria and if the piercing is not healed completely you will get it infected.

I’ve been told bout 3months before yo take it out (4 depending on how its healing) . same goes for the pool. because you dont want to get in until its healed up.
