My mum always tells me it is but, is she being silly?
Cats use grass as a laxative or to make them vomit up hairballs,they eat grass if they are feeling sick and this helps them.

Uhm? You want to keep your cat who is sick outside? Perhaps you should keep an eye on your cat to see if it is sick and take it to the vet if necessary? Lemme put it this way, your mother probably didnt go yuck and stick you in the bathroom when you were sick.
