is beginning alegrba embarrassing when your a college student?
i am taking that class its like equivalent to 7th grade math and my neighbor was in the same class and told me “i thought u were smart:(

Its ridiculous that people think that doing basic algebra makes you dumb. Some smart people can’t even do it. Most colleges start their students off with the bare basics to ensure everyone is on the same page. I have a specialized degree in accounting and in my first year did grade 8 accounting. It was compulsory. So no its not embarassing. It is however embarassing to the human race that you get labelled stupid for revising a basic skill.
There is nothing to be embarrassed about. Plenty of people have weak points when it comes to academics. Some are good at math and bad are English, and vice versa. No one is perfect so if I were you, I would brush it off.
