I don’t know. go to the nearest scene store and buy every band tee they have even if you don’t know who it is. then when people ask you about it just say they are alright. make it seem like you liked them way before they were popular. hahaha.

hair, generally don’t leave it natural. and for the love of god do not do coon tails those are SO old. black, blonde, as many insane random colors as you want. scene core kids usually leave their hair super long or hella short. medium isn’t really what they look for. you can rat the back and make it super choppy. don’t go to a stylist, do it yourself, it’s about standing out not perfection.

you need to act like you are on top of the world. don’t be a btch but do not let people walk all over you. and if anyone EVER asks NEVER tell them you are emo. let’s get this straight. EMO’s are emotional dramatic pssies. Scene is about music and style with a hardcore personality. don’t EVER call yourself emo.. .EVER.

style. flat flat flats. like ballet shoes? metalics and Chuch Taylors are a must. and every scene girl needs a myspace. skinny jeans, shirts with metalic sheens, zebra stripes, polka dots, and neon colors are also hightly acceptable. Cartoons used to be rad, but the preps are starting to wear hello kitty, invader zim and even pokemon so it’s best not to wear them too often. studden or classic white belts are good. big sunglasses, the bigger the better are a must. pearl, and bright colored necklaces that are super long are a must also Or RAY-BAN AVIATORS are coming around. get a piercing if you like. they are automatically considered scene. (like:Septum, Monroe, Snakebites, Spiderbites, Angelbites and Browbreakers are acceptable piercings; since your ears will probably be hidden under your voluminous hair you can either wear big earrings or none at all)

use scene words like, kaybai, radical/rad, stellar, pimp, ni99a, hoe, fer ser… wear as much vintage as you can. you can et EVERYTHING you need at nitage or second hand stores.
