Ball Pythons vs. Corn Snakes

I’m considering getting a pet snake, and the two candidates are corn snake and ball python. I’ve read up on them and they seem pretty similar in care, but the only thing is that I’ve read that sometimes a ball python will stop eating, and one of the things that you have to do to make it eat if that happens is to expose the brain of the prey. I don’t think that I could do that.

If anyone has either a ball python or a corn snake, what’s your opinion on the best pet? I travel in the summer to greece for a few weeks every year, and I have a multi-pet house…
