How do you bake soft cookies?

I’m not much of a baker, but I was planning on baking some cookies… tips on making them soft and chewy?

Answer #1

If you use premade cookie dough its really simple, just follow the directions on the box, i usually make mine slightly bigger than normal and take them out about two minutes before their supposed to come out because i like myy cookies to be still doughy a bit.

Answer #2

Adding a little milk to recipes without milk will make them soft and chewy. Just add roughly 1-2 TBS. Also you could try baking them 2 minutes less than the stated time on the recipe but that will only work for some recipes.

Answer #3

yep take them out sooner no more than 5 min or 6 min earlier than cooking time but really depends on your oven temp because all of them are not the same
