Well for starters wash your face with STRONG acne medication. In the morning get a bowl of boiling water and hold your face over it for five minutes to open up you pores. Then wash your face. Rinse with real cold water to then close your pores. Finish off with an oil-free moisturizer. You have to stick with it for a long time you can’t get lazy or all you hard work won’t be worth a thing. For your bacne take two showers a day and keep your sheets clean wash them every couple days.

im just like you but im 11,what I do is I take a pill every morning and night that my dermi gave me and I wash me face every morning and when I come in from playing/ecsersizing outside.I also use a cream called duac(also from dermi).I have really long hair so I keep it down when im in school to hide acne on the sides of my face and my back when im swimming which I do a lot.I wear a little makeup at school and when I go out to dinner with my family.over summer break I keep my hair up with a head band and put it in a pony tail to keep it out of my face and use a cream called retina.its really strong and can burn/turn your face red if you use to much,so I only use it once or twice a week on other days my mom uses it for her face.it comes from both sides of my family so I got it really bad.if you have any more questions or just want to talk e-mail me at lizzy@fivepope.com.

Answer #5

Ok right recently I found this cream that’s supposed to moisturise your skin and all but I actually found it GREAT for getting rid of spots AND it leaves your skin nice and silky soft! lol Also it seems to be quite good at getting rid of the scars left from spots. It’s called aqueous cream and you can buy it from most pharmisists and some supermarkets will have it. Also you can use it all over your body so that’s your back and chest sorted too! And dont worry-before this I had spots on my back and chest too! I think it’s actually quite common! Hope this helped hunny! x

For some people makeup DOES NOT make acne worse. if you have sensitive skin you should t wear it a lot if your going out to a fancy place yea whatever go ahead. not too much. wash your face every night NOT every morning and night BECAUSE if you wash at night your face will be clean, if you wash it in the morning too it will dry out your face causing you to break out more. stress is also a big factor. eat and drink healthy and you will look and feel better in no time.

I have bad acne to and I use proactiv. it really works for me. If you want to wear a foundation pick a water based foundation that is oil free and wont clog your pores. Mineral make up is the best. I use bare minerals and makes your skin look great and it is also really good for if you have acne. Also USE A MOISTURIZER. If you have acne you HAVE to moisturize your skin! And if you excerise or play a sport wash your face right after so your sweat wont cause you to break out. And drink lots of water and yah dont touch your face. Dont pop your pimples either. When you pop a pimple the pus just pops out and spreads into your surrounding pores and causes more acne. And when you find a face wash that starts to work, stick with it! dont keep changing face washes, but if you cant find one that works go to your doctor.

Well, hope this helps :)

STOP WEARING MAKEUP. Absolutely NO concealer, but a tiny tiny bit of powder is ok.

Drink lots of water. DON’T touch your face. Your hands are dirty, and dirt and oil are what causes acne. Use an astringent night and morning on your face.

If it doesn’t improve, or if it’s really REALLY bad, see a dermatologist or try Proactiv–that stuff worked wonders for me.

Here’s a couple of things that improve acne drastically,.. Drink tons of water, water is amazing for your skin especially for people with acne problems, so make sure to get your 8-10 cups a day. Second, excercise hate to say it but excersice releases hormones that can improve your skin’s conditions, and thirdly try products that don’t dry your skin and probide moisture and have some base form of acid. I hope your acne clears up.

Try getting make up that doesn’t clog pores.. avoid cover up.. it sucks I think cover up is great but it’s possibly making your break outs worse.

Answer #11

Strong cleaners will actually make acne worse because they take so much oil out of your skin that your body automatically produces MORE oil, making it worse. What you need to do it buy a gentle cleanser and moisturize with a oil-free lotion.

Answer #12

I have this problem 2,especially with the back and chest thing

I am exactly like you Hitsmex. Im 13 too. I wear cover up to try to discize my pimples! It doesn’t work! Alll my friends say why do you use so much make up or why are you wearing make up? I either say im not wearing it or just admit it! Last year I heard a popular girl say … Have you sceen (my Name’s) face! she is wearing so much make up! I have some tips that have worked for me:

I put Ziana all on my face and dab spots with Clean and Clear benzol peroze at night.

In the morning I mosterize my face and put Lancome (some thing like that) cover up on. Only on the pimples. I have tried to put cover up on my whole face but it makes me look like a clown!

Oh and when you wear a swimsuit wear your hair down it all ways helps me. what ever you do dont feel alown. I am just like you. There is still hope! Im sure your beautiful .

I am 22 and I suffered from really bad skin since I have been about 15. I tried absolutely everything from every type of facewash, topical creams, toothpaste, changing my diet, going on the pill…

It got to the point that I felt like the doctors couldnt help me. One guy even said to me “try washing your face”… As if I hadnt tried that one!!

Then I read online about Roaccutane. It is a course of tablets you take normally for a minimum of 12 weeks. I started taking 2 a day and then moved up until 3. I was lucky enough to register with a great dermatologist so got it all on the NHS. It is not something a normal doctor can prescribe.

After six months, my skin had totally cleared and is supposidly meant to stay that way. So the results are permanent!!! I havnt had one spot since I stopped taking it 4 months ago. I am so pleased as I was getting painful lumps under my skin, large spots on my cheeks, I had scarring but all of that has stopped.

I must warn you that it has got a lot of bad press with warnings of depression or even suicide but if you are a positive person who wants to cure it then Im sure youll be fine. The side effects I mainly suffered were really dry skin, dry eyes / lips. You are not allowed to drink alcohol either whilst taking the treatment or be in contact with direct sunlight ( as your skin becomes dry)

However, I am sooo happy with the results. My self confidence has increased so much and I dont have to worry every day about applying layers of foundation in an effort to cover it up, which in fact just irritated it and made things worse.

I would also recommend drinking lots of water and exercising as the sweat cleared my pores a lot. Also if going on the pill (which has worked for a few of my friends or at least helped) go on one which is specifically formulated to help skin. For example, Dianette, Yasmin or Celeste.

If you want to chat about anything then message me. I feel like I’ve been through it all and know how it feels so would be happy to help!

Good luck.
