How many visits will it take to go from black to blonde?

I was born a blonde… but around 6th grade I realized I didn’t have to be… so I’ve been every shade of orange, red, brown, and black hair under the sun since then. I always colored my hair myself or my friends did it for me and I’ve yet to have a bad experience. But I’m finally bored. I’m almost 20 and the only color I haven’t been able to achieve by myself again is blonde… So I’m finally willing to fork over a ton of cash to go from my current black hair to a light-platinum-ashy blonde (lighter than my natural color but still sticking with the cooler tones like ash) at a salon… but how many visits will this take?

I’ll be going back to school soon and I was wondering how much time I need to complete this little project of mine… 3 salon visits? More? Fewer? How much time will I need to space the visits apart? An appointment every 3 days… or every week?

(on the bright side… when I go red again in a few of months it will look so bright and fun over the blonde hair!)

i think it should only take about 3 if you ask them to strip the black colour out of your hair for 1 visit. then ask to go a pale mousy brown then after a few weeks they should be able to dye it blonde. tip dont dye it by urself from black to blonde. mine went a horrible shade of ginger! good luck mail me if u want more info! xx

first of all, how many visits and appointments you make or have to go through is dependent on the color you’re taking out of your hair. call the salon and ask if they have a color specialist and if they do, ask what products they use to remove hair color. ask specifically if they carry elimin8. when i needed to get a permanent black out of my hair, that’s what they used and it worked without harming my hair.
