Back problems big time.

I’m an iceskater and have been my entire life. My back constantly hurts, like sometimes it goes away othertimes im in pain. Well usually its just my lower back that hurts from too much skating like over working it, because I cant stand up straight and my body is kind of weirdly shaped where my boobs really don’t fit my frame. But now my upper back constalty hurts, I fell out of a chair one day but I dont think thats it. It usually hurts when I’m sittin on my computer and havin dinner at a table. Any idea what could be wrong with my back?

I used to have the exact same problems from football. I went to 3 different chiropracters till it finaly stopped. It would hurt me sitting down and when I would lay down I couldnt get up because the pain was to much. It could be serouis but, from the sounds of it its just from overdoing it. I had to stop my routin work out to do seperate up and lower back exercises mostly on the big inflatable medicine ball. It took me about 2 weeks and a great massage to finaly get it back to normal but, you will still probaly have to try and make a schedule to keep the back exercises.

yeaa you shud talk to your doctor as soon as possible. especially if its a sharp pain (along your spine) becaus that cud indicate you have a herniated disk ( thats what I have) and those can b really dangerous if you dont have it looked at

It could possibly be a stress reaction or a stress fracture. Have you gone to a physical therapist or sports medicine doctor? I think you should. They can diagnose you and help you better than anyone here can because we can’t see you. Are you stretching your back when you are warm and doing lots of abdominal exercises to have enough strenth to protect your back? If your abs are weak or you are not stretching properly, this could contribute to the pain in your back. Either way, go get your back looked at!!
