Can you get pregnant with two babies at one time?

can you be pregnat with two babies at around the same time?? like if you get pregnat in march 15 and you find out you have another baby apirl 1st and they are not twins and where concived at different times???

Answer #1

Actually, yes you can. The body can release two eggs at separate times. In this case, the second egg is usually released very shortly after the first. However, there can be a delay of 1-2 (very rarely more) days after the first egg is released. This is very, very uncommon though. They would still be referred to as twins though because they occupied the womb at the same time.

Answer #2

IF you had multiple partners with in a day or two and IF your body released two eggs at once and IF each was fertilized by sperm from a different DNA doner - maybe. MUCH MUCH more likely is that the 2nd embryo wasn’t detected at first.

Answer #3

yes but there are also twins that come from two different eggs so I am just asking if you can release two eggs and one get fertilized before the other!!!???!!!

Answer #4

no, did you not learn this in school? after you get pregnant, the egg hardens and calcium surrounds it and you dont realease any more eggs. AND sometimes there are 2 separate eggs with twins, but they come at the same time. if you are already pregnant, you can’t be pregnant again till you have the baby. by the way no effense, im not trying 2 be mean but you should have learned that. unless of course you slept during that class! =) haha I would have if I didnt have a funny teacher.

hopefully this cleared things up…

Answer #5

no, once you’re pregnant, you can’t have sex and get pregnant again with a whole new baby. twins are made when the one fertilized cell splits.
