Baby shower ideas

My daughter is having a baby shower and I will be throwing her a shower in sptember I need some unique and unusual ideas.

Answer #1

One thing you can play is guess the stomach size. Just have everyone cut a piece of yarn that they think will fit around the mother’s stomach. Another game I’ve played at my mom’s baby shower was guess the flavor. They took baby food and people ate it and tried to guess what flavor it was.

For my first baby shower my mother asked everyone to bring a frozen meal along with whatever else they were going to get me. This really helped for after the baby was born. My husband worked 2 jobs and would come home hungry and I would have a homecooked meal waiting for him that all I had to do was thaw out and cook. She did the same thing for my second and third children as well, only then she asked for the guests only to bring food and to try to make it something kid friendly. This idea really helps out after the baby is born and you’re to run down to cook anything but you still want to eat something better than a bowl of cereal for every quick meal you can manage to fit into your newborn schedule.

we have done this for many of baby showers. get oreos and dip them in milk chocolate and put a teddy grahms in the center of the oreos. then once the chocolate drys get white sucker sticks and put them in the bottom of the oreo and you have to put them in like a cork screw or they will break. make sure they are all the way dry before you put the sticks in. then get little clear bags and get some ribbon and tie them around the sticks. hope this helps.
