What are the average prices for rental properties in Los Angeles?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone would be able to tell me the weekly rates to rent 1-bedroom/studio apartments in Los Angeles and surrounding suburbs. Moving there in February for a job offer and need to know how much I should be spending on rent. Like i said, it would be easier if you could tell me by weekly rates rather than monthly.

Depends very strongly on

  • the location
  • the quality of the place you rent

A modern and clean place with working power, water and heating in a good neighborhood with low crime rates will be way more expensive than an old and scruffy place where something will break every other week and that is situated in a bad neighborhood.
