What was the average amount of credits you personally earned per quarter during college?

I’m getting 16 this quarter and i’m pretty sure when it starts to get further into the quarter i’m going to be quite overwhelmed ha.

Answer #1

Depends on how many classes that is - colleges are different. I did 5 classes at a time in undergrad, but I’m starting grad school (at a different uni) with 1 class and 3 seminars (which are less inolved than a class in my case). That’s 15 and 10 credits respectively, so credits are pretty much arbitrary :p

Answer #2

And 4 was the average/recommended at my undergrad. A lot of people took 5 and 3 classes. Also we had semesters, but my current school is on the quarter system.

Answer #3

Hm.. well out here, most of my classes are 2-3 units, and last semester I took 5 classes.. and OMG I wanted to die lol I need to calm down with the classes next time.. It was because I took math, history, developmental health, psychology and health… sooo many reports, non stop.. I had at least 3 reports to write/ week…

Answer #4

I took 5 classes (15 credits). It was what was generally taken to graduate in the normal 4 years. It was fine.

Answer #5

I took six or seven classes for each of the three years of my undergrad degree (18 points each). For masters, I took five papers this year which were 24 points each.
