Aussie Geography

I have a few questions on Australian geography, what is Australias highest peak and what is its hight what is australias deepest point, and it depth what is the latitude/longitude of Sydney what is australias total current population and lastly what is the total area of Australia

Answer #1
  1. Australia’s ‘highest peak’ is Mount Kosciusko, which is 2, 229 metres high.

  2. The lowest point in Australia is Lake Eyre (I think; you’ll have to check) and that would be at a depth of 15 metres below sea-level.

  3. 33 degrees 52 minutes (South); 151 degrees 12 minutes (East).

  4. The Australian population is something like 21.5 million people (and that number is growing).

  5. I don’t know what area you want because I think in some cases you have to consider the area of Australian waters as well. I had to research this one because I wasn’t sure. These are the relevant areas:

Total Area: 7,686,850km² Land Area: 7,617,930km² Water Area: 68,920km²

Hope that all helps mate :)!

Answer #2
