I need help on my art exam. I've chosen religious relics and I'm doing it on Buddhism, but I haven't got a clue what to do for my final piece. Help please!
Not Shiva, that's Hindu.
Tibetan Buddhism has a fantastic tradition of scoll paintings - they're called thangkas. Have a look at, for example, http://www.thangkapaintings.com/ or www.exoticindiaart.com/paintings/Thangka/ or http://www.buddhanet.net/thangkas.htm
I'm sure you'll get inspiration there!
Do you have to do a certain type of thing? like a paitning, sculpture, etc?
I think the most creative one's to do with Buddhism would be either Buddha, Shiva, or Manjushri
paintings..but im not sure what I could draw. preferably a buddha but I need ideas on how.
