arguments/ reasons for a lip ring

No… DON’T lie to them and say it’s a new trend. That’s insulting what piercing are truly gotten for. You SHOULDN’T get them just because “everyone else is” or because “it’s cool” or sh*t like that. Big mistake lying to them…

there are no good reasons for wanting a lip ring except for that you want one if that doesn’t work you aren’t going to be able to convince them

oh wwait I just realized you’re a guy…don’t get a lip piercing its about as cliche as an eyebrow piercing these days

It DOESN’T mess up apretty face… anyone who says anything like that is f*cking WRONG. There’s no “reasoning” for wanting any kind of person other then you just want it! As long as you get them done professionally and properly care for them afterwards, there’s nothing wrong with them. Age dosen’t matter, but if your under 18 you have to have a parent or legal guardian with you when you get it done so they can approve of it. If your 18 or older, you don’t need your parents’ say so. Don’t get them just to “look cool” or “stand out”… that’s not what the purpose of having them is. Get one because you actually WANT IT! Piercings are just forms of body art and self expression, just like tattoos. They CAN be removed if you ever would decide you didn’t want it anymore… just take the jewlery out and never put it back it. The hole will close up and you will never be able to tell you had it.
