Everyone feels lonely every once in awhile but this doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Being alone can also be empowering and help to get to know yourself better. Of course everyone needs friends but sometimes alone time can also help clear ones mind, learn to deal with difficult issues on our own and heal old wounds. The best thing about being alone is that we can fully concentrate on the most important person in our lives, us! So if you do feel lonely sometimes try doing something different like being creative or writing or even taking a nice long walk. Sometimes contemplating nature or being creative can help release tensions and negative feelings therefore making our social relationships healthier. It’s better to call or hang out with a friend because you feel like having their company then just because of loneliness.
