Are contacts a must?

If you don’t want to wear contacts, then don’t. It’s your body, you decide what you do with it or what you put on it. Not your friends or anybody else. I tried wearing contacts once, but they were a real pain to get into my eyes (literally and figurativly), so I just stopped wearing them. I wear glasses now, of course, and I attract a lot of boys (I’m not trying to sound conceded ^-^’). Tell your friend that if the guys are worth their weight in gold, then they’ll like you for your personality and not looks. Also, tell her that guys think confidence is sexy. If you like the way you look wearing glasses, then wear them, but if YOU want to wear contacts because you don’t like the way you look with glasses or if it’s easier to do your daily routine without having to worry about them, then get contacts. Oh, and contacts are not necessary, just an option. I hope this will help you! ^-^

I think that how you dress and what you wear for eyewear is a choice that is up to you to make. I don’t think contacts are a must. Tell your friend that you choose to stay with the glasses.

It depends, some people look cute with glasses! If you don’t like the way you look in glasses, you should get contacts. I wouldn’t say contacts are necessary, though…

I wear both. I prefer my glasses because they are less of a pain. I don’t think glasses make any differant in the way I look.

I don’t think glasses are a must for attracting the opposite sex, girls in glasses can be cute. I like to wear contacts though, because it makes my eyes more visible, and so I can more comfortably play sport. It also mixes things up a bit comfort wise, it can be annoying having a heavy metal weight sitting on your nose all day!

I applaud you fo rnot caring what they say you should do. cause its not there body you do what you want. contacts are not nessecary to attract boys. if they are worth a damn they will like you anyways.

I loved having contacts though. they do make ME feel better about myself just cause I like them but dont do anything you dont want.

the only thing that matters is the way you feel.

but they are sometimes more convinient. I loved not having my glasses when doing sports like swimming and track.

I’m also thinking about doing track in college as well as other sports. But I’m so afraid of the ball hitting me and sometimes I don’t know why.
