I bought a snail, and about 5 days later i see a baby snail. What is odd it there were no egg clusters, and only one baby. Also i read that apple snails do not self fertilize, they need a male. How on earth is there one baby snail after 5 days?!
Apple snails have eggs one by one, the snail could have been pregnant before you bought it and had the baby after you bought it.
since she has already had the baby will she be having any more or is this it since there is no male?
yes, i never saw eggs, just this little snail in the tank
Also, no there has to be a male and female.
