Anyone wanna give a guy some advice...

Let me first explain this question I’m asking is not for me…this is a pal of mine. The guy needs some advice, and one I get responses, I’m going to let him read them…

Here’s the question:

“I have a girlfriend who I love a lot! We’ve been dating now for over two years, and we really get along great!!! We’ve never had a fight, I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true. here’s the problem…my dad…well…he thinks I need to date around a bit. He thinks I’m too commited to one person. now, I love this girl with all that I am. She means the world to me…but I don’t think I’ll be proposing anytime soon. We’re both still really busy with school and work…and it’s just not the best idea right now. I think my dad is worried I haven’t seen the world enough to make a informed decision on where my life is going.”

“to set the recrod straight…I do not want to cheat on my girlfriend, ever. She’s too precious to me. But does my dad have something? Am I too commited to something, even though I have no plans to propose for at least a couple years? Before this girlfriend I dated three other girls, and none of the relationships lasted longer then a year…but she’s different…I just…I love her so much. “

“as a side question, do you girls think it’s considered “leading you on” by staying in a long relationship with out the promise of a proposal? I’d never considered it wrong, I always thought it was healthy to get to know a girl before getting married, but what do you girls think?”
