Any good eye makeup?

fo to your local department store, or phone them up frist, and ask what ranges they have ‘stools’ set up on. book an appointment for one thats within your price range (no point booing estee lauder if you’ve only got a fiver!) and say to the lady, look I need a new range of make up to sut my tones and my personality, give her an idea of what you like then let her do your makeup, if you like it, get it, if you don’t, then don’t!

make it clear that you’re tryng to find a range that suits you, so don’t be offended if you don’t like it. but you would appreciate their ‘expertise’!

dont’ feel pressured by there sales techniques, my husbands pants bless him, I wanted a pair of eye lash curlers one year (you know, the £3 pair from boots!) and what’s he come back with? a bloody estee lauder pair of heated eyelash curlers! for gods sake! lmao!

but experiment, make up’s meant to be fun, go through some mags, find an eye look you like (forget about colours at this stage) find a skin effect you like (matt or shiny) find if you like bold or subtle lipstick, pamel anderson lining or julia roberts nude lips, and just play, ti is fun! it’s taken me 30 years to find the style I like, and altough I do change it, it takes ages to perfect it…but thats the fun…
