my hair is dark brown and can sometimes look black its just past my shoulders with short side bangs and is always hanging in my face so I think I need a new haircut any advice???/thanks

I would cut about an inch, and layer it. Maybe add some highlights, either light brown, or a funky color like blue, pink etc.
