Ankle monitor

If you have an ankle monitor and a portable gps phone; and you were to leave the gps phone at home, can the ankle monitor track ones where abouts? In other words how does ankle monitor work?

If you are on house arrest you need to stay home. They track you with the ankle monitor, not your cell phone. That’s why they put the monitor on you.

they carnt tell were you are because of your tag, all a tag dose is make sure your in your house after kerfew hours.

it works by sending an infered beam from you tag box to your tag, the infered bounces off all you walls and when you step outside it brakes the infered beam thats how they no youve gone outside your home.

if you want to go outside for an hour or two with out getting into trouble wrap tinfoil round your tag and wait for them calling you on your tag box and once youve given your details to them they will no that your in your house so they will think theres some thing up with your tag box. they will send some one out to check your tag box but it normaly takes them an hour or two. so after they have rang you just go out for an hour.
