What can I do to stregthen my ankle quickly?

So I broke my ankle awhile ago, and my cast came off about a month ago but my ankle still is not back to normal. It hurts when it is in the same position for a long time and the pain spreads to my knee. I have gained a bunch of weight since this breakage happened and I neeed to start my workouts again but it hurts! What can I do to stregthen my ankle quickly!

walking in a swimming pool would be a could start. low inpact, water supports your weight and provides resistance. Google “low impact water aerobics” Physical therapy would be nice if you can afford it. Peace, Sting

Did you doctor give you some exercises? Most of the time they do. Well, when you break your ankle you will probably always have problem with it. I broke mine when I was six and it still hurts from time to time. good luck. And maybe you shoud talk to you doctor.

I would go to the doctor and maybe suggest physical therapy. I did it for my knee it didn’t exactly help me but I know many people that have gone to physical therapy for many different things and it helped them a lot. Maybe even just trying to walk for a while at a slow pace and when you feel comfortable keep speeding up and going for a longer distance.

well I have ankel issues my ankle bones never grew with my body so get an xray and ask a doctor
