Hello my name is nikita and I am 13 years old. I really badly want a puppy but my mom won't let me because the last 2 dogs were to nuaghty and kept biting the cats. Do you know how I can convince my mom to let me have a puppy and one that won't bite cats. Please im begging you I love dogs more than anything in this world please just help me to at least get one thats is a well behaved bread and to convince my mom please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please please
I have to disagree with the other answers. If you promise to take care of them and know a lot about a particular breed and are offering to pay for them you might get one. So first you should pick a breed. My dog is a Cavilier King Charles Spaniel and doesn't chase cats partially because when we brought him home a cat came right up to him and the cat was twice his size so he didn't bother trying to fight it. Another thing you could try is find a breeder who also has cats so that the puppies would have raised around cats. Whatever breed you decide you want you have to see how to take care of them learn all the facts. Then tell your parents the plan and see what they say.
Yeahh what they said is true about having to respect you mom decisions, but you can also convince her to get a newborn or close to it and train it goood, just say that you will take better care of it and prevent this from happening again.
A dog's behavior is totally contingent on the owner's ability to train it...No puppy comes knowing the rules...If your mom couldn't train the other two, she knows she's not going to be able to train a new one...
