And just maybe I'm to blame

Ok so if you read my last question I recently lost my bestfriend because I didnt want to chill with her while she’s with her boyfriend.. People told me to just not worry about it and she needs to grow up.. But I can’t stop thinking about her she knows a lot of stuff I never told anyone before… Is the reason were not friends anymore really my fault or is it hers? Any advice to get over her would be nice too

Personally, I like spending time with my boyfriend, just the two of us. One reason is because I don’t want any of my friends to feel like the third wheel. And for that same reason, I haven’t hung out with some of my friends when they were with their boyfriends. You saved drama from happening by not going, because it could have been awkward. Then again, it depends on how close you are to the boyfriend too. No one is at fault, it’s just one of those weird situations where things get blown out of proportion. Anyways, if she is your best friend, is she worth losing because of one situation? I would try talking to her and listening to why she got mad in the first place. Trust me, a best friend isn’t worth losing. I hope it works out

Well, if you’re close friends with her boyfriend, try talking to him about it too, maybe get him to put in a good word for you, make her more willing to talk to you. She might have just been insulted [not that you would do it on purpose] because you didn’t want to hang out with them. Sometimes us girls get easily offended, even if we know it’s over something stupid… which sucks. Maybe this is just one of those times where you may have to apologize, even though it isn’t really your fault… After that, don’t push her, give her some time, but still treat her like your best friend, or at least a really good one
