Who has Amazon's Kindle 3 eReader?

I want to buy a kindle 3 but i’m an international user (Dubai). Does anyone know if this poses any problems while using the kindle? I heard that i can’t use the wireless feature when downloading books, is there any other problem i can face? Also does the kindle 3 allow me to access for example my university site where i can download my university books from? Any useful answer would be appreciated.

Well, i don’t have a kindle, but my friend does. You do need wifi to download books, and i’m not sure if you can download them from a different website, probably not. You can try looking through the kindle book store to find your university books. You might be surprised at what you find. Lol
