Well your getting there but your in puburty now and youll know when you have your period cause in your under wear youll see red spots and if you think its going to hurt when you get it it wont but the cramps will but go to your mom and go online with her and lokk for a site with that topic.go to yahoo or google for that.and I got mine at age 10.

u guys are lucky I started at 11! trust me ull noe when your ganna get it..I always get really bad cramps…just enjoy your time without it

I just started my first one… mine felt like my stomach was absolutely empty, and then I felt that it was lower. The period is caused from not fertilizing an egg, so it just drops down into your bladder. Since your body isn’t used to it, you’ll know because it will be a new sensation. P.S. I’m 12
