…probably more like 10 phones an no, its not normal anything can become addictive especially mobile phones, and especially to teenagers who use them uselessly meanaing txting there friends when there next to each other, ect kids and teens becaome dependant on a phone to keep in contact with there friends instead of verbal comminication theyll comunicate with there phones it is addictive, and if you send 3000 texts a day or a wek then yes, you have an addiction an addiction that wastes years of your life, takes away time you could actually spend with people and talk face to face, and costs sh*tloads of money I would suggest getting a prepaid phone, and paying for the credit yourself

If you don’t have unlimitted text messaging, that’s probably why your father is strict since phone bills cost you. Since its affecting school and chores, that’s probably another reason why your father is wanting to take your phone away. I say, try to cut back on how many text messages you send a day or week. Its nice to have a phone just enjoy it.

Do you have unlimited text messaging? If not that may be why you might be going over the amount you’re allowed to send. A lot of teenagers use a lot of texts and minutes I know I do. I use about 20,000 texts a month. It’s a bad habit. Is it affecting your daily life such as school or chores? That may be why he’s saying that too.
