Am I on my way to anorexia?

I’m not sure if I’m turning anorexic or not. I’ve gone from 145 lbs on June 7 down to about 125 on July 25. But I want to be 105. I usually try to consume no more than 500 calories a day. I’ve done my research on the internet and I think I have all the symptoms of going anorexic: I want to sleep a lot, I’m always cold, I drink water like no other, and I make sure to look at the nutrition labels on anything, even water. I think I need is some advice to make sure whats going on here.

Answer #1

If you are on your way to being anorexic, it’s not good. You really should talk to a doctor. However, you didn’t say how tall you are, so depending on your BMI, you could still be a “normal” weight for your height.

Once you hit the “normal” range, you should go back to a more balanced diet, and eat more calories, else you’ll cause your body harm.

Answer #2

At your current weight, height and age. Your rate of calorie burn factoring in daily activities: 2200

How many minutes per week do you run, cycle or play sports? (take hours and divide by 60) Multiply those minutes by 8. _

Then divide that number by 7.

Then add 2200.

Your answer is your daily calorie needs._

Now subtract 500 from that number._ This is your estimated daily calorie budget if you want to lose one pound a week. Subtract 1,000 to lose 2 pounds a week. Anything more and you’ll lose more muscle than fat.

I hope these numbers help put things in perspective for you.
