Am I depressed?

I heard my parents say that they were thinking about moving and I had no appitite for about a week now.

Yes, you sound depressed, but that does not mean you have depression.

When people are depressed, they are sad. There’s a reason for the sadness, in your case, the moving. So people might cry, or be moody, or have trouble eating or sleeping while they are going through this tough time. People get over this sad feeling when times are good again.

Depression, also known as clinical depression, does not mean just being sad. Depression is a serious mental condition often caused by an imbalance of chemicals in the brain. It’s something people have and feel regardless of what is going on around them.

Well, your parents are only thinking about moving, right? It’s not a sure thing? Maybe they meant moving to a new house in the same area. You could try talking to them about it. They might agree to take some of your opinions on the matter into account too.

Your young. Believe me we all felt that at some point or another in our life. You will get over it. I remember when i was young and my parents moved oohh i was upset. But you know its a part of life. You will be suprised who you meet and how many new friends you make. And your lover. your young i’m sure yawl will keep in touch

ppl often mistake depression with anxiety if it gets too bad see your doctor its private and 1 pill a day might make the world seem a brighter place good lucky babe!
