Am I depressed?

Lately I have been feeling really down on myself and just wanting to be alone. Not only that I lost 12 pounds in one week. Could it be from so much stress I’m under? I’m I depressed?

tell think over the last 3 weeks. is ther anything bothering u? if ther is it may have something to do wit u felling down.

yeah i sounds like you are. the 12 pounds in one week is by no mean healthy either. i guessing that this is coming cuz of your exboyfriend. the best thing that you can do right now is distance yourself from him being around him is only going to mke it worse. getting some help would also be a very good thing to do.

Hello i wanted to tell you that i was diagnosed with chronic depression about 2 years ago,but i have the symtoms all my live like sadness low self of steem hard on myself wanting to be by myself headache other body pains thouhgts of suicide anxiety tons of stress crying sad thoughts etc.you should tell someone who can help you asap parents siblings friends cousin some one you trust.you need to see a proffesinal asap a doctor too and get a physical because loosing 12 pounds in one week is very,very dangerous please take care of yorself because things will get better if you take the wright steps and get help asap p.s im doing much better since ive been on anti depressants god bless u and best wishes

Stress can be a big factor in making you lose weight. However 12 pounds is a great deal of weight to lose in one month let alone a week. If you’re going through something tragic or unbearable than your stress can easily turn into depression. Try talking your feelings and problems out. Talk to a friend, a family member, a loved one, or even a psychologist if you feel the need to. Maybe what you need is to have help dealing with your stress.
