Am I pregnant?

Hi everyone, Here it is… I have a regular/normal cycle (only sorted themselves out this year!!), My cycle should of started on the 25/6th, it’s the 28th now! :( This is getting a bit personal now but… I had sex 3 months ago with protection but I found out that it splitt! Shocker I know!! I’ve had two periods and now missind one. My stomach is getting noticiably bigger, my boobs are feeling a lot heavier, I’m peeing a lot and for the past 3/4 weeks I’ve started to get kicks in my stomach every now and again mainly when I’m in the bath!!! So when do you start to show?? When does a baby start to kick?? *What are the symptoms of pregnany??

I’m going to google as well, plus get an appointment with my doc, But I just want to know what you all think thats all…

Thanx, Peace out x

*So when do you start to show??

There is no exact number, as each woman is different. Many women >>experience bloating around 6-8 weeks of pregnancy, but this usually goes down. The typical protruding belly usually begins to develop in the second trimester (3 months and on). However, this may only be noticeable to the woman and those close to her, until later on in the pregnancy. A woman may only begin to look very obviously pregnant around 6 months and on. (in their first pregnancy)

*When does a baby start to kick??

women generally don’t begin to feel the baby move until sometime between 16 and 22 weeks or later, particularly if it’s the woman’s first pregnancy.

*What are the symptoms of pregnancy??

The First Trimester (Week 1 - Week 12)

  • Your period stops or becomes very light.
  • You may feel nausea or queasiness. Some women vomit. (“Morning >>sickness” can happen any time of day – it may help to eat small meals throughout the day, snack on crackers or toast, or drink juice or lemonade.)
  • Your breasts swell and may be tender.
    • Your nipples and the area around the nipples (areola) get darker and broader.
  • You have to urinate more often.
  • You feel tired.
  • You may become constipated and have heartburn (Tums may help).
  • You may have headaches.
  • You experience mood swings – feel angry, sad, or happy for no reason.

If you suspect you might be pregnant, it’s a good idea to take a pregnancy test and then see your health care physician if it’s positive to start prenatal care.

Well if you didn’t want to get pregnant in the first place you shouldn’t of had sex at all and you should of thought it out a little better before you had sexual intercoursebut I suppose a quick way of knowing if you are pregnant is to have a pregnancy test and if you haven’t already I think you should have a word with your parents and see waht they would do if they werein your situation

If you had 2 periods since the last time you had intercourse, then you most likely are not pregnant. Since you are sexually active it is time for a pelvic exam, etc. anyway so kudos to you for scheduling one.

Go to your nearest drug store and get PLAN B, which is emergency contraception (EC) - also known as the morning after pill. It is available on demand at any pharmacy to anyone (guy or gal) 18 or older. This pill is 75-85% effective at preventing pregnancy in case of breakage like what happened to you. It can be used within 3 days (some say 5 days) of intercourse, but the sooner the better. It is not an abortion pill. It is the same medication as regular BC pills, but a larger dose.

Good Luck !!
