My dugter got rape from her fosterfarther what can I do abut that am going throw a lot with her
As a raped victem as a kid I can tell you your daughter is feeling many emotions right now that she might not beable to express. If she draws pictures encourage her to express what she is feeling through her drawing.If she sings then encourage her to express those emotions through her words.Give her that chance to sit with you and cry out her emotions. Get her couseling but in a kid group setting where the others too have went through this and how they are makeing it through it.Not an adult couselor that sits there and says I know how you feel because they really dont.Hope this helps.
Simply be there for her and remind her that it was NOT her fault.
You may be going through a lot with her but she is going through a lot on her own which will effect the rest of her life.
Maybe counseling would benefit her.
She needs to know that she is not alone and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
